Remember to create a display board about the country you are representing at MMUN. Please bring you Country Display to the Conference where it will be available in the grand hallway for all the delegates to view. The country display board helps people who visit MMUN learn something about the countries being represented at the conference. It is always more interesting to learn through more than one of your senses, so the displays can be designed to involve not only sight, but also smell, touch, and hearing.

Country Display Board
Activity: Students will work together to create a display board about the country they
will represent at MMUN. The Country Display will be brought to the Conference where
it will be available in the grand hallway for all the delegates to view.
Goals: To help students learn about a foreign country. This activity emphasizes research
and teamwork skills. A country display board should help people who visit MMUN learn
something about the countries being represented at the conference. It is always more
interesting to learn through more than one of your senses, so the displays can be designed
to involve not only sight, but also smell, touch, and hearing. Students who plan the
displays usually try to give the public not only something to look at, but also something
to do.
Time: several hours to brainstorm and create the display board Materials: display board,
various arts and crafts materials as needed Instructions for Teachers:
1. Use the research guidelines provided in Chapter 4 of the teachers manual to do
initial research on the country that your school was assigned by MMUN.
2. Have students discuss what and how they want to display the information. A good
starting point is discussing what is important to your assigned country and what
should students from other schools know about your assigned country.
3. Find similar points of interests – this an indication of a starting place for different
smaller projects to contribute to the greater display board. Let students be creative
with formatting: poster boards, two-fold science-fair boards, Power Point
presentations, or a display of products are just a few options. Let students be
creative with details. Everyone has at least one special talent – encourage
drawing, painting, writing, sculpturing, or some other unique way to express their
ideas.
4. Allocate time in class to brainstorm and work on the display board, or assign it as
homework.
5. Examples of what past students have included on their country display boards:
• a map with major landforms, cities, and transportation systems;
• photographs or hand-drawn pictures of their country’s flag;
• examples of games, which are played by the children in the country with
instructions on how to play;
• samples of art and crafts that are part of the country's culture; and,
• maps painted by the students with interesting facts about their country’s people,
flora,and fauna.

•含有主要地貌,城市,运输系统的地图;
•照片或手画自己国家的国旗图片;
•游戏示范,这是该国内孩子普遍玩的游戏,并附有说明;
•该国的艺术品和工艺品的样品;
